ESSAY  FOR CHIN211

BACK

This is my essay for CHIN211:

Here is the English translation:

I am an eighth-year graduate student. My major is computer science. I have over 280 credits. This year, I must graduate, because my advising professor is only willing to give me a stipend until the end of the next quarter. The only thing is, that writing a thesis is very difficult. This quarter, I only chose second-year Chinese. I have already finished all the computer science classes.

My office is on the fourth floor of Sieg Hall, room 427. My office has eight desks. One desk is mine, the other’s are those of other students. My desk has a computer sitting on top of it.

Each week, I go swimming three times. Each time, I swim for half an hour. Before this quarter, I also rode my bicycle to school, but I do not have a bicycle anymore. Some person took my bicycle away. I do not know who.

I live at the intersection of University Way and 52nd street. In addition to me, my wife also lives there. To her, our place is small and noisy. This place may be small, but it is close to school. As for being noisy, I do not care.
